Hadi Khatib
Z2X Digital - Gründer & Leiter Syrian Archive
Hadi exposes and highlights human rights violations committed by all sides in the Syrian conflict. He does so by collecting, verifying, investigating and preserving visual documentation. His goal is to ensure lawyers, NGOs and journalists have access to verified data so that an atmosphere of accountability, advocacy and traditional justice may flourish. Hadi previously worked for the Tactical Technology Collective for five years, helping journalists and human rights defenders secure their data, devices and communications online. In addition to his work for the Syrian Archive, Hadi is a part-time open- source investigator at Human Rights Watch and he also contributes to investigations at Bellingcat. Hadi is a fellow at the Centre for Internet and Human Rights.
